Terms of Service

The short version. Aistint is an AI-powered resume reviewer. By using the app you agree to: (1) be 18 or older, (2) provide accurate info about yourself, (3) accept that AI feedback is guidance, not a guarantee of getting hired, and (4) follow the rules below. Pro is a paid subscription — you can cancel any time before your trial ends to avoid being charged.
1. Acceptance & eligibility
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and [Legal Entity Name] ("Aistint", "we", "us") for your use of the Aistint app, the website at aistint.app, and related services (together, the "Service").
By creating an account, signing in or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old. Aistint is not intended for minors.
- You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement in your country of residence.
- You have read and accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Your account
- You may create one account per person. Use a working email address — we send verification, security and billing notices there.
- You are responsible for keeping your password and OTP codes confidential and for all activity under your account.
- Notify us at support@aistint.app immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
- You must provide accurate information about yourself. Impersonating someone else or submitting another person's resume as your own is grounds for termination.
- If you sign in with Google, your Google account must belong to you and be in good standing with Google.
3. What Aistint provides
Aistint offers, among other things:
- Resume scoring and feedback (Mission 100)
- ATS (applicant tracking system) compatibility checks
- AI-generated improvement suggestions and cover letter drafts
- Optional features such as Ghost Detector, Competitor X-Ray and Personality DNA
- A conversational career coaching bot ("Mission Bot")
- History of your past analyses
We may add, change, or remove features at any time. Where a change materially reduces functionality of a paid plan, we will give reasonable notice and, where required, a pro-rata refund.
4. AI outputs & accuracy
Important. Aistint's scores, suggestions, cover letters and other outputs are generated by AI (Anthropic's Claude model). They are opinions and guidance, not professional advice and not a guarantee of any outcome — including, without limitation, getting interviews, offers, salary increases, or particular roles.
- AI can be wrong, biased, or out of date. Review every output before relying on it.
- Aistint is not a substitute for career counselling, legal advice, immigration advice, employment law advice, or financial advice.
- You are solely responsible for the content of any resume, cover letter or other document you submit to a third party (employer, recruiter, portal), even if Aistint helped you draft it.
- Do not paste highly sensitive identifiers (Aadhaar, PAN, bank account, full passport, government IDs) into the app. Resumes don't need them; including them increases your risk.
5. Free plan, Pro plan & trials
The Service is offered on two tiers:

Plan inclusions, monthly limits and prices may change. The current price and feature list shown in the app at the time of your purchase governs that transaction.
5.1 Free trial
- The 7-day Pro free trial is available once per person.
- A valid payment method is required to start the trial.
- You will not be charged during the trial period.
- If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the trial automatically converts to a paid Pro subscription and your payment method is charged.
- You can cancel at any time during the trial from Account → Subscription with no charge.
6. Billing, renewal & cancellation
- Pro subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly basis through our payment partner Razorpay.
- By starting a Pro subscription (including by starting a trial with a saved payment method) you authorise Aistint and Razorpay to charge your payment method automatically on each renewal date until you cancel.
- Prices are stated in Indian Rupees (₹) or US Dollars ($) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Foreign-exchange fees from your bank or card issuer may apply.
- You may cancel at any time from Account → Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep Pro access until then.
- If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and downgrade your account to Free until payment succeeds.
7. Refunds
- Subscription fees are non-refundable once charged, except where required by applicable law.
- If you were charged after the trial despite cancelling beforehand, contact support@aistint.app within 7 days of the charge and we will investigate and refund if applicable.
- We do not offer pro-rata refunds for partial billing periods if you cancel mid-cycle.
8. Your content & the licence you grant us
"Your Content" means resumes, job descriptions, cover letter inputs, profile info, messages to the bot, and anything else you submit to the Service.
- You retain ownership of Your Content.
- You grant Aistint a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, transmit and display Your Content solely for the purpose of operating the Service for you (for example: running AI analysis, storing your history, generating outputs you request, and providing customer support).
- We do not use Your Content to train AI models. We do not sell it. We do not share it with third parties for advertising.
- The licence ends when you delete the content from your account or when your account is closed — except for what we are required to retain by law (see Privacy Policy section 7).
- You warrant that Your Content is yours, that you have the right to submit it, and that it does not violate anyone else's rights.
By submitting Your Content you understand it will be sent to Anthropic, PBC for AI processing under the terms described in our Privacy Policy section 4.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit anyone else's resume or personal data as your own without their consent
- Submit content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, defamatory, obscene, infringing, or that promotes violence or self-harm
- Use the Service to apply to jobs in a spam or automated mass-application manner
- Use the Service to generate misleading credentials, fabricated experience, fake job titles, fake degrees, or to assist in resume fraud
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, copy, decompile, or attempt to extract our source code or AI prompts
- Use bots, crawlers or other automated means to access the Service
- Probe, scan or test the vulnerability of our systems, or bypass our security or access controls
- Sublicence, resell, or commercially redistribute the Service or its outputs as your own product
- Use the Service to build a competing product or training dataset
- Submit data subject to special protections (e.g. medical records, financial account numbers, government IDs) — Aistint is not designed for that
- Interfere with other users' enjoyment of the Service
Violation may result in suspension or termination of your account without refund.
10. Our intellectual property
- The Service — including the Aistint name and logo, the app interface, prompts, scoring system, copy, code and curated content — is owned by Aistint and protected by intellectual-property laws.
- We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your personal job-search and career purposes.
- The AI outputs generated for you (e.g. your personalised cover letter draft) are yours to use for your own job applications and career, subject to these Terms. You may not resell them as a service.
11. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties including Anthropic (AI), Supabase (database and auth), Cloudflare (hosting), Resend (email), Google (OAuth) and Razorpay (payments). Their own terms and policies apply where you interact with them through us. We are not responsible for outages, errors or actions of these third parties beyond what applicable law requires.
12. Suspension & termination
- You may stop using the Service at any time. To permanently delete your account and data, use Account → Delete my account.
- We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, fail to pay, or if we are required to do so by law.
- On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We may delete your data, except where retention is required by law.
- Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including IP, your warranties, liability limits, indemnity and governing law — will survive.
13. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.
Without limiting the above:
- We do not warrant that AI outputs are accurate, complete, current or suitable for any specific purpose.
- We do not warrant any particular job-search outcome — interviews, offers, salary uplifts or otherwise.
- We do not warrant compatibility with every ATS, recruiter platform, browser, device or operating system.
Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of certain warranties. Where that applies, those exclusions do not apply to you.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Aistint, its founders, employees, agents and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, including without limitation loss of profits, loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss of jobs or career outcomes, loss of data, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.
- Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you actually paid to Aistint in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) ₹1,000.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (for example, in some jurisdictions, liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or death/personal injury caused by negligence).
15. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Aistint and its representatives from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (i) Your Content; (ii) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law; (iii) your violation of any third-party right (including IP, privacy, or publicity rights); or (iv) any misrepresentation made by you.
16. Governing law & disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
- Courts in [City], India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect our IP or confidentiality.
- Before filing a claim, you agree to first contact us at legal@aistint.app and attempt to resolve the matter informally for at least 30 days.
- Any claim must be filed within one (1) year after it arises, or it is permanently barred — to the extent permitted by law.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will notify you in the app or by email and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept the changes, stop using the Service and, if you have a paid subscription, cancel before your next renewal.
